Rachel has moved back with her family after her time of "rumspringa," what the Amish call " the running around time." She's taken her church vows and tries to give up her old wild ways.
But it's not easy - and when some of her old friends are still free to go out and party, she gets tempted - and caught. But it's a serious matter for a young woman - who's now in the church - to get called on by the Bishop after a night of mischief. She could be shunned - and her father can't take that chance.
