While writing The Schoolmaster's Revenge, Bethany wanted to achieve a blend of all the elements she knew SHE would look for in a spanking video. First, she wanted a "real" story line, with realistic characters, but one that could be told without long sections of dialogue. When customers buy a spanking video, they want spanking - and lots of it. Bethany knows that.

This video starts out with spanking - and doesn't let up. In the very first scene, when the young teacher candidates are confronted with their cheating, Mr. Johnson makes it clear that they have a straightforward choice: expulsion or spanking. This is not a very pleasant decision for our eighteen year old young ladies, who consider themselves "all grown up." But they want to be teachers very badly, so they chose the spankings.

First, each girl is given a hard, bare bottomed, over the knee spanking. And just when they think it's "all over," a new reality intrudes - the over the knee spanking is just the beginning. After half an hour of corner time, Mr. Johnson intends to introduce the girls to his school ruler.

After the spankings are over, Mr. Johnson sends the girls home with strict instructions: as part of their punishment both girls must tell their families about what happened. When Susan asserts that her mother will be angry with Mr. Johnson, Mr. Johnson imparts some unexpected information to Susan. He knows her mother, knows her well in fact. And he invites her to come over the schoolhouse and discuss things with him, if she so desires.

While walking home after their spankings, Susan and Julia discuss what just happened and compared their sore, reddened bottoms. Both young ladies are very apprehensive about what might be waiting for them. Susan is surprised that her mother knows Mr. Johnson and quite disappointed that her threat of her mother's wrath did not impress the schoolteacher.

Julia, meanwhile, is not happy about having to tell her brother-in-law. She reveals that on at least one occasion she knows of, her sister received a strapping from him - she fears the same fate will be hers.

Julia knows her brother-in-law all too well, and what she fears will happen does. John is horrified that Julia has compromised the family's reputation in the community as well as wasted the money spent on her education by such carelessness. John has a traditional way of looking at things, and he lives by the old adage - if you get spanked at school, you get it again at home.

With little discussion, she is marched directly to the woodshed where she is given a hard, bloomers down strapping with an old-fashioned razor strop. John is very angry with his errant young sister-in-law and it shows as he turns her backside bright red.

While Julia is having her session in the woodshed with her furious brother-in-law, Susan must also return home and tell her mother what happened. Susan's mother, Victoria, is also, very predictably, furious with her daughter for wasting the opportunity given to her to attend Teacher's Normal School. She's not mincing any words about what she thinks about Mr. Johnson, but she's also not sparing her own daughter.

Reaching for a handy wooden kitchen spatula, she orders her daughter to take her bloomers down, completely uninterested in the fact that Susan is already very sore. With no further discussion, Susan Samuels gets a bare bottomed kitchen paddling from her mother which leaves the already-red behind even more tender and marked.

Victoria leaves the kitchen, and to her daughter's surprise, returns dressed to go out. Surprised, Susan asks about the "history" between her mother and Mr. Johnson. Victoria says little, and it's obvious she's leaving a lot out. Ignoring her daughter's warning that Mr. Johnson is very scary, she asserts that it is only Paul Johnson who will have to be careful

Returning to the classroom, Victoria Samuels confronts Paul Johnson over the propriety of his paddling eighteen year old Susan. Paul is unfazed by Victoria's loud protestations, and immediately turns the table on Victoria, confronting her about their past history.

Victoria doesn't want to hear it and counters with a resounding slap. Paul needs no more provocation, and decides what was good for the daughter is doubly good for the mother. He starts Victoria out with a bare bottomed hand spanking, but soon realizes that the mother is a much tougher nut to crack than the daughter was.

Before she knows it, Victoria is bent over a desk - just like her daughter had been an hour earlier. But this time, Paul gets out his paddle, saved, as he says, "for the really naughty girls." Even that fails to make the impression on the defiant Victoria that he desires, and he decides to finish her off with the school cane.
